OSJCT is a premier not-for-profit care provider based in the UK, with a mission to offer the best possible care to residents, including those who may be the most vulnerable in society.
As a charitable organisation, we are subject to regulation by both the Care Quality Commission - an independent regulator - and the Charities Commission. This ensures that we remain accountable for the public benefits we deliver through our services.
At OSJCT, any profit generated through our operations is duly reinvested in the care we provide, our workforce and in the upkeep of our buildings. Our status as a not-for-profit care provider ensures that we have no shareholders, and we do not pay dividends to investors.
We also stay financially transparent by employing open book accounting practices with our local authorities, to whom we provide reports and accounts annually. Additionally, we present an annual report and accounts to the Charity Commission, all of which is available on our website.
At OSJCT, owing to our commitment to our local communities and the wellbeing of our residents, we have taken on minimal debt. Our only financial commitment is the one percent of our annual income that we owe to Barclays Bank in England, where we operate.
