Dawn Jarvey, a resident of Charlton Road, Wantage, passed away at the John Radcliffe Hospital in Oxford on November 29.
An inquest into the 52-year-old’s death was initiated by area coroner Nicholas Graham at the Oxford Coroner’s Court on December 23.
The inquest revealed that Mrs. Jarvey worked professionally as a physiotherapist.
She reportedly had a complex medical history following a fall in April 2024, leading to her admission to hospital, where she subsequently passed away.
Her cause of death was identified as respiratory failure due to critical illness polyneuromyopathy and respiratory muscle weakness. Additionally, it was noted that she had suffered a traumatic brain injury and underwent a bone marrow transplant in 2023.
A complete inquest is scheduled to take place at the Oxford Coroner’s Court on January 24 at 11am.
