On Monday, April 21, between 8pm and 8:15pm, a blue Seat Leon Cupra was involved in a severe accident on Chain Hill in Wantage. The vehicle left the road and rolled into a nearby field, resulting in the driver sustaining “life-threatening injuries.” He is currently in a critical condition at the hospital.
The Thames Valley Police are urgently seeking any witnesses to this serious accident. Investigating officer Sergeant James Surman of the roads policing unit stated, “This serious collision occurred in the early evening near Wantage. I am appealing to anybody who witnessed the collision, or who may have dash-cam footage of the incident or the moments leading up to it, to get in touch with Thames Valley Police.”
