Getting to the Library
Wantage is conveniently placed with regular local buses serving the area. Stagecoach 31 and 30 departing from Oxford and 34 from Harwell IBC, Thames Travel 32 departing from Didcot, Whites local services and services from villages are all available transport options. If arriving by car, there is a two-minute walk from the Waitrose car park on Stirlings Road to the library.
Home Library Service
At Wantage Library, we offer a Home Library Service to all individuals who have difficulty visiting the library and don't have anyone to visit on their behalf, regardless of their age. This service is available to nursing homes, residential areas, as well as temporary basis to individuals recovering from an operation or illness at home.
