Welcome to Our Community Choir
Established in September 2018, we are proud to be a big, friendly, and fun community choir with over 60 regular singers. Our choir is dedicated to singing a mix of modern and traditional songs with a gospel vibe, and we divide our choir's vocal sections into sopranos, altos, and tenors.
We understand that not everyone has previous singing or musical experience, and we do not require any ability to read music or auditions for membership. Our choir is a welcoming and inclusive environment for anyone who wants to sing and have fun while doing it.
At our community choir, we believe in eliminating the barriers to participation, and we have no subscription or commitment requirements. Instead, we rely on suggested donations of just £5 per session to support our choir's activities and expenses.
We meet weekly on Tuesdays at 7.30 pm at Wantage Baptist Church in Mill Street. Our amazing and inspirational musical director, Mark Stanley, leads our choir to reach its full potential.
