The Beacon in Wantage is a community arts venue with a regular programme of stand-up comedy, live music, theatre, guest speakers, film screenings and pantomime. It also hosts classes and workshops, from yoga and dance to trampolining and karate.
Five spaces are available to hire for meetings, children’s parties, classes, private events and performances, with a stage, kitchen, garden and step-free access. The Brews and Books Cafe, run by volunteers from Wantage Literary Festival, serves coffee and cake on weekdays.
