Vale Hydrotherapy was established in 2004 and is currently under the management of Emma Barnard RVN, who took over in June 2008. As a qualified veterinary nurse, Emma brings a unique perspective to hydrotherapy and ensures that Vale Hydrotherapy stands out as the only hydrotherapy centre in Oxfordshire to be run by someone with this expertise.

Facilities

• Fully heated 13ft x 7ft x 4ft deep swimming pool
• Filtered and sanitized to human standards
• External ramp for easy access to the pool
• Remote-controlled hoist for lifting dogs into the pool who cannot enter via the ramp
• Anti-swim jets used for controlling exercise and work-rate
• Dogs swim singly wearing buoyancy aids and are fully supervised at all times
• Tailor-made swimming programs designed for your dog's age and condition
• Underwater treadmill
