Vale Hydrotherapy is a canine hydrotherapy and rehabilitation centre on the W&G Estate, Faringdon Road, East Challow, near Wantage. It was established in 2004 and has been run since 2008 by Emma Barnard, a registered veterinary nurse.
Facilities include a heated pool filtered to human standards, with a ramp, a remote-controlled hoist and anti-swim jets, plus an underwater treadmill. Dogs swim one at a time in buoyancy aids, fully supervised, on programmes suited to their age and condition.
