Quince Cottage Bed and Breakfast

Quince Cottage is a large thatched house, dating from the 17th Century with later additions. Originally 2 cottages. it was converted to one dwelling about 40 years ago. Located in the beautiful downland village of Letcombe Regis, a designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Only 1 mile from The Ridgeway and 1.5 miles from the historic market town of Wantage, the birthplace of King Alfred, It is also only 30 minutes drive to the beautiful city of Oxford.

Louise has been running the B&B here for 25 years, catering to tired and hungry walkers, local workers staying in the area, and visitors to the Richmond Retirement Village in Letcombe Regis.

We are more than happy to cater to any particular dietary requirements if notified in advance and offer packed lunches on request.

We regret we cannot accept dogs.

The Greyhound Inn is 2 minute walk away with a wonderful menu and is very popular. Booking for meals is strongly advised.
