Thatchcombe Bed and Breakfast is a B&B extension to Thatched Cottage on Bassett Road in Letcombe Bassett, near Wantage, run by Astrid and Tony. They bought the cottage in 2016 and opened the B&B in 2021, naming it after the Saxon word combe, meaning valley.
The grounds were developed over many years as a haven for wildlife and include a chalk stream, wild areas and woodland, which the owners continue to make more accessible. Breakfast is served, and guests can enjoy the garden.
