Witnesses Sought After Serious Motorbike Crash on B4494 in Wantage

The incident occurred at 7:30 PM on Thursday, August 14, when a green Kawasaki motorbike was involved in a single-vehicle collision. The crash happened on the B4494, Chain Hill, in Wantage, and the rider, a man in his 30s, remains in hospital with serious injuries.

Thames Valley Police is now appealing for witnesses following the road traffic collision.

Investigating officer PC Ben Rowlands, of the Joint Operations Unit for Roads Policing, stated, “I am appealing for witnesses to this incident whereby a rider has sustained serious injuries after this collision. I would ask that anyone who was in or near the area in which this collision took place to get in touch with us if you saw anything or have any information. If any motorists in the area who have a dash cam could please check as to whether anything significant was caught, as it could help our investigation.
