Urgent Appeal: Woman and Dog Sought in Connection to Wantage Dog Bite Incident

Thames Valley Police are seeking the public’s help in identifying a woman and her dog, suspected to be involved in a dog bite incident that took place in Wantage last month.
A man in his late 50s was walking his own dog on Letcombe Hill on Wednesday, November 20, around 4 pm, when he passed another dog walker. During the encounter, the man’s leg was bitten by the other dog. He sought treatment at a hospital shortly afterward and has since been discharged.

Investigating Officer Issues Public Appeal

PC Amanda Daroux, the officer leading the investigation, released a statement alongside a CCTV image connected to the case. She said, “We are releasing an image of a person we believe may have vital information in connection with this incident.”
Daroux urged, “If you recognise the person or if this is you, please contact Thames Valley Police.” She advised anyone who wishes to provide information to call the police on 101, quoting reference number 43240562879, or to use the force’s online form.
