Adding to the joy of victory, Letcombe FC was also honored with the ‘Team of the Month’ award for November 2023 and January 2024 during the event. The prestigious award, given to only one team across the three Hellenic Division 2 leagues, was presented to the club by Hellenic League chairman, Bill Beach.

Upcoming Semi-Final Match and Community Event

Following the successful event, the club is now gearing up for its semi-final match in the Marsh Challenge Cup competition. Letcombe FC, the only remaining Division Two side, will host the current Hellenic Premier Division favourites, Worcester City. The other teams fighting for the cup are all Hellenic Premier Division teams, a league two divisions above Letcombe FC. Given the high stake nature of the upcoming match, club officials are anticipating nearly double the crowd of last weekend.

Following the outpour of support and enjoyment from the community, another family day is set to be organised in September, to coincide with the commencement of the next season. The club is hopeful of attracting even more visitors to the upcoming family day, fostering unity among locals and fans.
