On May 15, at approximately 1pm, a burglary occurred at a house located on Main Street in Grove, which alerted the occupant of the property. Upon entering the hallway, the occupant discovered a male intruder standing near the front door. The intruder, described as a white male between the ages of 35 to 45 years old, with short light brown hair, approximately 6ft tall, and of a slim build, was wearing a blue jacket and trainers. He quickly fled towards Bosley’s Orchard.
Following the incident, the Priority Crime Team from Abingdon has issued an appeal for witnesses and urged residents in the area to review any available CCTV or doorbell footage. Anyone with information or relevant footage is encouraged to contact the authorities by calling 101 and quoting reference number 43230214515.
