The incidents unfolded just before midnight on Tuesday, September 30, across various streets in Wantage. Thames Valley Police (TVP) reported that the areas affected were Elizabeth Drive, Stockham Park, Bream Ridge, and Perch Rise.
A spokesperson from the force stated: “We’re investigating a series of vehicle break-ins that occurred overnight between September 30 and October 1, just before midnight, in the Wantage area.”
The Wantage and Grove Neighbourhood Team is actively gathering evidence and has initiated an investigation into these incidents. Residents are urged to check their vehicles thoroughly, even if nothing appears to have been stolen, and to report any unauthorized access.
The police also encourage locals to review their Ring doorbell or CCTV footage from around the time of the incidents.
