Man Hospitalized After Unprovoked Knife Attack on Grove Street, Police Seek Public’s Help

The incident took place on Grove Street in Wantage around 9:50 PM on Friday, April 11. According to Thames Valley Police, a 48-year-old man was approached by three men who demanded his mobile phone. When the man put his phone in his pocket, one of the offenders cut his arm with a knife.

The authorities describe the offenders as two white men and one black man. The victim received a deep cut on his forearm and required hospital treatment. However, he has since been discharged.

Thames Valley Police are now appealing for information related to this grievous bodily harm incident in Wantage. Detective Sergeant Isaac Van Den Eshof stated, “I am appealing for the public’s help to bring these offenders to justice. This was a serious and unprovoked attack, and it is vital that we identify the offenders.”
