Local Resident Faces Charges for Railway Obstruction After Bridge Incident

Tyler Little, a resident of Reynolds Way, Abingdon, is facing charges for allegedly obstructing a railway engine/carriage through an unlawful act.

An incident on June 20 last year at Station Road Overbridge in Grove is at the center of these allegations. It is claimed that Little threatened to jump off the bridge, thus obstructing the railway’s operation.

Initially, Little was set to attend his first hearing at Oxford Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday, January 21. However, proceedings have been postponed to a plea hearing scheduled for January 28 at the same court.

If convicted, Little could face a prison sentence or a monetary fine for the reported offense.
