Egg-citing Fun at St Katharine’s House: Kids Enjoy Thrilling Easter Hunt and Golden Egg Challenge!

The community spirit was alive and well at St Katharine’s House Care Home as children gathered for a day of fun and friendly competition on Tuesday, April 15. The event promised excitement with a variety of challenges designed to engage and delight the young participants.

The main attraction was a five-minute egg hunt, where children raced against the clock to collect as many eggs as possible before time ran out. The thrill continued with a special golden egg hunt, where keen-eyed adventurers searched the garden for a hidden golden egg, the finder of which took home a delightful Easter hamper.

Such was the enjoyment of the children that the activities didn’t just happen once. Due to popular demand, multiple rounds were organized, allowing more opportunities for fun and adventure.

Each child left with a chocolate egg as a token of participation, but it was Thomas Westall who triumphed by discovering the golden egg, marking the day with a special win.
