Building better futures: Persimmon Homes creating sustainable communities since 1972.
Since 1972, Persimmon Homes has been designing and constructing quality new homes for sale throughout the United Kingdom. Today, as one of the country's most successful housebuilders, we have over 400 new build developments in towns and cities, coast and country.
Persimmon Plc is the holding company for the Persimmon Group, a FTSE 100 Index constituent, listed on the London Stock Exchange. From our Group headquarters in York, we operate 31 regional businesses across Britain, trading under the brands of Persimmon Homes, Charles Church, and Westbury Partnerships. Additionally, we own the Space4 timber frame manufacturer, the Brickworks factory, and FibreNest, a broadband service that provides ultra-fast full fibre to the home connectivity, allowing customers to be connected to the internet from the day they move into their new home.
As a responsible employer, we actively recruit apprentices and trainees in all areas of our business, supporting our growth and creating hundreds of new jobs in the trades, sales, and technical roles. Moreover, our expert architects and planning teams collaborate with local authorities to deliver sustainable new neighbourhoods that meet the needs of modern home buyers, complete with the necessary schools, shops, transport, leisure, and health facilities.
At Persimmon Homes, we create more than 16,000 new homes annually, all of which are designed and built to meet the needs and requirements of modern buyers.
Our dedication to communities extends beyond our construction projects; we strive to give back as much as we can. Through our Persimmon Charitable Foundation, we make 64 donations each month, up to £1,000, through our Community Champions scheme, which helps voluntary groups and charities aiming to improve the quality of life for local people.
As an official partner of Team GB, we're supporting British athletes leading into Tokyo 2020 and beyond. Moreover, our Building Futures initiative will see £1million donated to organizations that support young people's participation in sports, excel in education and the arts, or provide essential health and wellness services.
