A message from Jane
I began my journey as an artist in the South Hams around 2006. The support and recognition I received there were invaluable and forever appreciated.
When I moved back to Oxfordshire, I had to leave the sea behind, but this gave me a different perspective and dramatically changed my art style. Over the last eight years, I have been evolving my style to work with the galleries I collaborate with and my own artistic vision.
As a teacher, I had the privilege of giving many students the confidence to paint freely. But, as demand grew for my artwork, my diary increasingly revolved around creating commissioned pieces for universities, businesses, hospices, and private homes. I am grateful to have this position in the art world, and I am always thrilled to see a new piece completed.
Though I no longer do prints unless specifically commissioned, my largest artwork sizes range from one meter square or larger.
My art is now exclusively represented by Hugo, the owner of a prestigious gallery in Chiswick. Hugo, who was once a collector of my work, has become a friend and promoter who takes my art to several art fairs, including Battersea and Hampstead.
