Vibrant Community Spirit Shines at Grove Garden Club’s 98th Summer Show

Grove Garden and Local History Club recently celebrated its 98th Summer Show at Old Mill Hall in Wantage, drawing attendees on Saturday, September 6, from 2pm to 4pm. The event showcased an impressive collection of stalls featuring seasonal vegetables, vibrant flowers, intricate crafts, and captivating photography.

One of the notable attendees was Matthew Barber, the police and crime commissioner for Thames Valley. He shared his admiration for the event on Facebook, noting: “An impressive array of produce and crafts at the Grove Garden and Local History Club Summer Show yesterday.”

The show also included a diverse range of stalls offering ceramics, cards, jewellery, and artworks. With no entry fee, visitors were welcomed to enjoy the atmosphere and purchase refreshments including tea and cake.
