Tragic Collision on A417: Community Mourns Loss and Seeks Witnesses

A tragic accident occurred involving a Kawasaki motorcycle and a pedestrian on the A417 Mably Way, situated between Denchworth Road and Grove Road, at approximately 8:50 am on Monday, September 1.

The pedestrian, a 60-year-old woman from Wantage, sadly passed away at the scene. The motorcyclist involved was initially hospitalized in a serious condition but has since been discharged, according to the latest police updates.
