The victim, a man in his 50s, has been stalked by an “unknown offender” in Goring between July 2023 and February 1 of this year. Police report that most of the stalking occurred in and around Goring, including at the victim’s residence.
There were multiple instances of contact during this period, with the offender attempting to engage with the victim. Thames Valley Police stated that “a thorough investigation” is ongoing and the victim receives support from the force.
Yesterday, May 27, images of two men whom the police wish to speak to in connection with the offense were released. An update today, May 28, revealed that one of these individuals has come forward. The police expressed gratitude to everyone who shared the appeal.
A statement from the force emphasized: “We are continuing to appeal to identify the man pictured as he may have vital information regarding this stalking incident.”
The image depicts an elderly man with grey hair and glasses. Detective Constable Fiona Boyce, the investigating officer, urged anyone who recognizes the individual or the man himself to get in touch with the police by calling 101 or making a report online, quoting reference number 43250051887.
