Adali Restaurant has recently opened its doors at 14 Wallingford Street, much to the delight of diners in the town.
The establishment serves “delicious Turkish cuisine using fresh ingredients,” according to owner Natasha Seyrek. She added: “Our wonderful chefs hail from London and bring with them many years of experience in cooking Turkish food.”
“We’ve received some wonderful feedback so far from our lovely customers,” she continued.
The eatery offers a tempting variety of menu options, from hot and cold starters to chargrills, platters, seafood, and salads. Diners can also enjoy “Adali Specials” such as kebabs, moussaka, and meat dishes.

Wantage restaurant enthusiasts are sure to welcome the new business, taking over the premises previously occupied by Massoom’s Indian restaurant.
Back in November 2023, the former owner of Massoom’s, Masum Miah, received a suspended custodial sentence for food safety and hygiene breaches. Investigation revealed disturbing conditions, including a zero-star food hygiene rating, evidence of a rat infestation, and unsafe food preparation that posed an imminent risk to public health. Despite orders to close during inspection periods, the restaurant continued operations until it was eventually shut down permanently.
In contrast, Adali Turkish Restaurant has received positive reviews from early patrons and offers a delightful range of delicacies to the local community. It operates from noon to 11pm, Monday to Sunday, and provides online ordering options on Fridays and over the weekend.
