Charlton Lodge is excited to announce its official launch event on January 29, from 2pm to 4pm, with the special guest, Councillor Dr. Angela Dunford, joining the celebrations.
The first residents began moving into Charlton Lodge in November, and the home is now poised to celebrate its grand opening. This special event will offer visitors a unique opportunity to explore the home, enjoy drinks and canapés, and participate in a ribbon-cutting ceremony.
Carla Kell, the home manager at Charlton Lodge, expressed her excitement, saying, “We’ve received such a warm and positive response from local people since our first residents moved in—truly becoming a part of the community.” The team at Charlton Lodge is thrilled to host this grand opening event and celebrate with neighbors, residents’ relatives, and special guests. The event will also offer a nostalgic Mini car display in the car park, honoring the Mini factory in Cowley. Guests will enjoy performances from the Wantage Silver Band and have the chance to sample delicious tasters from the residents’ menu at Charlton Lodge.
