Scouting across the Vale of White Horse, and the Wantage and Grove Scout Christmas Post
King Alfred District Scouts covers scouting in Wantage, Grove and Challow, with Beaver, Cub, Scout and Explorer sections. The district is based on Springfield Road in Wantage.
Each Christmas, volunteers run the Scout Christmas Post, collecting, sorting and delivering Christmas cards around Wantage, Grove and Challow from post boxes placed with local businesses. The money raised goes towards activities for the young people in the sections.
