About

Wantage Grove Station Supporters Group is a campaign group working to reopen a railway station for Wantage and Grove. Wantage station served the community for 118 years, from 1846 until it closed in 1964 under the Beeching cuts, and its goods depot closed a year later in 1965.

The group follows and comments on regional rail planning, including Oxfordshire County Council’s rail studies.
