Oxford Authentication is a laboratory at Boston House on Grove Business Park, near Wantage, that tests the authenticity of pottery, ceramics, porcelain, stoneware and bronze using thermoluminescence. The company has operated since 1997, and its founding director, Doreen Stoneham, has carried out authenticity testing since 1970.
Clients include museums, international foundations, private collectors, antique dealers and auction houses such as Christie’s, Bonhams and Sotheby’s.
