New Venture Products is a specialized supplier of safety, security, and protective paints and coatings to both trade and general public clients.
Founded in 1998, the company initially focused on supplying the rubberized anti-slip coating Protectakote, manufactured by Duram in South Africa, which was already a successful product sold in the USA under the Durabak and Herculiner TM brand names. In 2003, New Venture Products underwent a change in ownership and began expanding its range of products while strictly maintaining its commitment to only include carefully selected items that were tested and used by the company first.
The product range now includes Protectakote, Protectakote UVR, Safekote, Omnicote, Osmo natural wood oils, Roofix 20/10, NVP epoxy floor paint, NVP Anti Climb Paint & warning signs, and Flag Paint's range of chlorinated rubber, anti-slip, and garage floor paints.
Protectakote, in particular, is a versatile product with hundreds of applications, ranging from load bed liners for 4x4s, vans, pickups, and utility vehicles, to hard-wearing anti-slip surfaces for workshop floors, lorry tail lifts, boat decks, decking, fire escapes, walkways, playground equipment, and many more. It has been used in notable applications such as the Severn, Humber, and Forth road bridges, US Coastguard and navy vessels, Royal Mail delivery lorries, specialist Network Rail applications, and several recent noteworthy sporting events.
