Moonhare Ceramics is the pottery of Jo Marshall, who makes handmade stoneware and pit-fired ceramics in Wantage. Jo turned to ceramics after a career as a graphic designer in London, and hares, which live in the surrounding Oxfordshire countryside, feature heavily in her work.
She uses a lot of colour, decorating with paper masks and coloured slip so every piece is unique, and pit firing gives each piece its own character. Her work is sold through her website shop.
