Introduction
From Nursing Homes to Holistic Therapies: A Mindful Journey to Wellness
Description
I am originally from Kent and began my career in nursing homes for the elderly before transitioning into IT admin management and training. After starting a family, I settled down in Wantage where I discovered my passion for holistic therapies and well-being.
Furthering my education and skills, I completed my Level 3 Reflexology Diploma at the highly-regarded Eileen Gilmour School of Holistics in Gloucester. Utilizing my knowledge and experience, I established my own therapy practice.
The name of my practice, Clara Rose Therapies, is an homage to my great-aunt Clara, a woman of beauty, wit, and intelligence whom I greatly admired. The "Rose" in the name is another nod to the beauty of the flower, as well as my own full name, Rosemary, which was affectionately used by my grandmother and mother.
Living my life with mindfulness, I embrace each moment and make every day count. I practice daily meditation, am an active member of the Wantage Academy Silver Band as a Euphonium player, and tend to my allotment whenever possible.
