Wantage Piano Tuition is run by Kate Bidwell, a qualified piano teacher with over a decade of experience teaching children and adults. Violin lessons are also offered. All private lessons take place in her music studio in Wantage, which has a Kawai grand piano.
Lessons are tailored to each student and combine enjoyment with sound theory. Exams are optional, but pupils are encouraged to perform at concerts and recitals she organises through the year. Parents are asked to help supervise practice, and holiday workshops give students a chance to play duets and trios.
