Ardington Bakery trades from The Old Bakehouse on the High Street in Ardington, on the Lockinge Estate near Wantage. The building has more than 150 years of history and for much of that time supplied bread to the estate and surrounding villages.
The bakery was established in 1987 by pastry chef Graham Birks, who had worked in Michelin-starred restaurants around the world. Today it sells mainly through an online shop with nationwide delivery, and also supplies wholesale customers.
